Terms of Use

The hosted Terms govern CARDS ON THE TABLE (The Couples Compatibility App), operated by Casey Staton. Read the complete authoritative policy below.

Game participation

• Exactly two real players, each 21 or older and legally eligible in their jurisdiction, must personally complete screening and accept the Terms. One player cannot consent for the other.
• Participation and disclosure are voluntary. Never pressure another player to answer. Each player can pass once with a Wild Card or end the game.
• The free trial contains seven questions. A verified Full Game purchase unlocks the 70-question deck and challenges of 25, 50 or 70 questions.
• Full Game costs $4.99 USD once, not a subscription. Stripe processes payment. Sign in to save and restore a verified purchase on another phone. Full refunds and lost card disputes revoke access.
• Matching selected choices resolve; differing choices and missed responses are unresolved. A timeout never consumes a Wild Card. Confirmed Wild Card rounds are excluded. Responses have 90 foreground seconds; turns advance automatically and Wild Card confirmation is untimed.
• Agreement is resolved rounds divided by evaluated rounds. It is not a scientifically validated relationship test, diagnosis or prediction. Zodiac signs never affect scores; optional astrology commentary is entertainment, not evidence-based relationship assessment.
• Only personalized zodiac and AI summaries are offered. They require separate permissions from both players and an explicit results action, sending answer choices, question identifiers and zodiac signs, never names, photos, gender/pronouns or birth data. Permission may be withdrawn to clear output and prevent future requests; already processed information cannot be recalled. All generated commentary is entertainment, not professional advice or a prediction, and never changes scores.
• Current game data is session-only. Leaving or reloading loses progress. There are no synchronized private online tables; gameplay uses one shared phone.
